I haven't laughed so hard reading a book since Eleven on Top by Janet Evanovich or You Suck by Christopher Moore. I made the mistake of reading Colton while on the treadmill at the gym. Needless to say, I got a lot of strange looks for random laughing. I enjoyed Van Dyken's The Bet Series, but compared to Colton, it was just mildly amusing.

Colton and Milo are completely unequipped to deal with their feelings for one another, so they resort to playground rules, tormenting one another and silly competitions. Add in the fact that Milo is like a freaking bulldozer and you have instant hilarity. Throw in a crazy-ass best friend (Max) with a flair for over-the-top dramatics and a grandmother that defines the term "cougar" and I'm in hysterics.

The next book, Consequence of Revenge is next on my tbr pile. I seriously cannot wait! Thank you Rachel Van Dyken, The Consequence of Loving Colton has gone on my top 10 of 2015 list. I'm pretty stingy about my 5-star ratings, but it is thoroughly deserved.

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!

Well, I know I already said this one time (over on Rachel's FB group- Rachel's Rockin' Readers), but it stands to be repeated--- I cannot decide if I laughed more while reading Colton's book- or Max's!! These guys are freaking hilarious!!! Rachel just may have outdone herself in the humor department with this series- and that is saying a lot after having read all of Grandma Nadine's antics!!!
Max, who we all met and fell in love with in Colt and Milo's story, was bound to have to get his own HEA. I mean, come on, he just had to. We could not leave him hanging!! So, when Jason (Milo's brother and Max's newfound BFF), along with the rest of the gang, decide to meddle in his love life (in order to give his life a sense of direction)- you can bet your butt that you are not going to want to miss out on it. They decide, unbeknownst to Max, to sign him up for a "Bachelor" style dating game show- set upon an island in the tropics. Twenty five women vying for his love and affection. You would think that Max would be in heaven, right? Wrong, just oh so wrong. Come on guys- this is Rachel we're talking about!!! Of course there are going to be curveballs galore in this book!! Did I mention that the majority of these 25 women are insane?? Like really, don't turn your back on them, crazy? But, you know- totally in a hilarious way.
Plus, you get a goat and a gecko. I mean, come on- what more can you ask for? Oh yeah, you can ask for a kick ass heroine- that would be the amazing Becca- Starbucks barista extraordinaire. Becca is, without a doubt, the most perfect match that could have ever existed for Max, and she is one of the best things about this book. Love her- just totally love her. Add into the mix, Reid (Max's brother) and the rest of the gang, and this is without a doubt one of my new faves of the year. Rachel is already one of my top five authors, but she constantly finds a way to continue to keep herself in that spot. 5 huge stars!!!

I really love Rachel's writing style and storytelling, I hate the content. I wish the author would either write cleaner stories, or publish a clean version of her books so they could be available to a wider audience.

Sexy. Sweet. Unforgettable. I love this author and the stories she writes. Great chemistry. Undeniable attraction. Smoldering tension. Characters that make you feel everything. Highly recommended this book y'all!

Rachel Van dyken can do. I wrong for me! Her stories are always full of heart and humor. The Consequence of Revenge is no exception. From start to finish I laughed, sighed and cheered and laughed some more. Great story, great characters.

Laugh out loud funny, but sometimes a little over the top.

I enjoyed this story of Max and Becca, although I didn't love it as much as the first one in the series. It kept me interested and I liked seeing the familiar characters.

After receiving approval for this book I sat down and started reading the first book. I could not finish the first book. I found the characters were immature. While they were suppose to be in their 20's they acted like they were about 15. Therefore I could not read or review this book.
