As an avid fan of Megan Crane, back in the formerly known as 'chick lit' days, I was surprised at this title. Surprised and impressed.
This is a great romance. I didn't realize my feedback hadn't sent YEARS ago, so I'll say this now - I still think about Ajax and Sophie. This was a spicy, rollercoaster of a ride, read. If you're looking for something thought-provoking, this isn't your book. However, if you're looking for a fast-paced, steamy, descriptive romance with great character depth, then I highly recommend.
Sophie loses her biker dad in a crash, and Sean returns when he hears about it. Lots of sparks, lots of sex, lots of biker politics. Fast and quick read. Would recommend.
Bikers? New Orleans? Sign me up!!
Make You Burn was a look into the lives of the Deacons of Bourbon Street. Ajax returns to a lifestyle he left behind when the president aforementioned MC passes away. Upon his return, he finds Sophie, the former president's daughter, running the old bar where he use to hang out. Ajax initially resists the lure towards Sophie but Sophie isn't as convinced. When they give in, their chemistry is sizzling hot!
I look forward to more books in this series.
Bikers set in New Orleans? Yes please. This story was really good. Everything flowed and very enjoyable
Thanks Netgalley for the Arc
Make You Burn by Megan Crane is from the series Deacons of Bourbon Street. I recommend it! The characters Ajax and Sophie were well written and interesting. The story is well done and descriptive with the setting in the French Quarter in New Orleans. The author has written an interesting and steamy novel that you are sure to enjoy.
