I requested this out of interest in exploring attitudes to children through time. Interesting perspective, but it - perhaps naturally - feels a little dated.

I read the first three stories in this book and thought "meh". There was really nothing to them. The book was published in 1959 and re-released in 2015, but the stories really do not fit in this time. I would really not recommend it to anyone. There was not enough to entice me to read any further.
