Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read a copy of this book in exchange for an honest opinion.
This is a sweet book, somewhat autobiographical, and quite humorous about a woman who loses her husband and dog around the same time. For various reasons, the dog hits her a whole lot harder. She makes a trek to San Diego where she lived when she met her husband 8 years before, stopping in Arizona to work at a B & B for the summer. Of course, family, dogs, new friends, and revelations ensue.
This is a quick read and if you love dogs as I do, you will enjoy this book.
