Absolutely loved this book! I am a sucker for a good Amish read! And this author doesn't disappoint! I have read a couple of her others and am always pleased with her work!

Sweet and simple book about the hardships of both staying and leaving.

Lorie Kauffman has never once questioned being Amish - until her father had died and she subsequently realized that he had had secrets - like tattoo, like car, like visits to the Englisch world. Lorie now needs to discover the truth, even if the way to the truth might be through difficulties and even some lies. Meeting Zach, handsome Englisch boy, is both helping and complicating her truth chase.

This is book about the human growth and mistakes along the way. About the courage to grow and the value of things we take for granted.
This is very relatable novel - meaning I have got angry with the characters more than I care to admit - which just means the observations about the need for growth are very exact :)
So even if it might be too simple for my reading taste, its truth speaks volumes.

Plus point for including the bunch of cute, wise seniors!

Wow !! What a fantastic read !! I just loved the main charater Lori and all that she went through in deciding if she belonged in the Amish world and the English world after her father died. And finding out that he had led a secret life that she had known nothing about !! Another great book in this series !!
