I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.
I love stories that have a female in a dominating career, and a woman as a bounty hunter is pretty bad ass! Being able to bring people in for one reason or another, and having the mental and physical capability blows my mind - because I definitely couldn't do it. So I really liked Grace. I hated her mom and sisters because they are nasty humans, but seeing her dad stick up for her was amazing.
Raide is yummy and sweet and dominating. Pretty much, he's perfect, haha. But he's on a one track mind and not seeing the bigger picture in life, so it was frustrating on how quick he was to judge and snap to an answer that wasn't necessarily the right thing to do.
I really enjoyed this book and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it!
Ooooh, boy, this was steamy! I loved the chemistry between Raide and Grace, they were so great together and I really felt the connection to them! I loved that this was a great combination of romance and suspense, the chemistry between the characters plus reading to see what's going to happen when Grace has to take him in for her job had me on the edge the whole time I was reading!
This book took me a little while to get into, but once I was I had a hard time putting it down.
i haven't read many Bella Jewel books, but the ones I have I have really enjoyed. Hard to Fight is no different. I thought this book was quite an enjoyable read. If you like a strong Alpha Male Hero, you should meet Raide Knox.
This book is filled with action, sex, and thrills, we even got some romance along the way. I thought the storyline was interesting. I haven't read any other book about Bounty Hunters, so I found that fun to read about. I loved watching the love story blossom between Raide and Grace.
I truly love Bella's books that are romantic suspense. This one wasn't as suspenseful as some of the other books I have read, but it still had a lot of action to keep me turning the pages.
I would definitely recommend this book to all readers. It has enough of everything to make all readers enjoy this book.
I will never forget Raide and Grace. Grace is a badass bounty hunter, taking after her Dad instead of her beauty pageant Mom and sisters. Grace has a helluva target with a gun and can take down a grown man. Her body as her weapon. Raide's had a rough upbringing and has lost his family. Soft spots are found. Trust is built, but will it shatter when selfishness surfaces. Grace is fishing. She sets her bait. Casts her line. But will Raide bite? Their limits are tested and Grace has a strong support system there for her. Raide has Benny but otherwise feels alone. The character build is not thrown at you in the beginning. The background of our characters is revealed in a flowing fashion suitable to the flow of their story. I wanted more Raide and Grace. I didn't want their story to end. I'm hopeful we'll see more of them in future installments. Bella, lady, you wrote a beautiful love story with Raide and Grace.
