This book picks up right where Say My Name left off. There’s so much happening—drama, mystery, secrets, and emotions—that it kept me on the edge of my seat for most of the story.

We dive back into Sylvie and Jackson’s relationship, where many secrets between them are finally revealed. The two struggle to move forward after these revelations, and the hotel project they’re working on almost falls apart. Both Sylvie and Jackson have serious trust issues, and as they uncover more about each other, they also have to confront and deal with these trust problems.

While the drama in this book is intense—at times, maybe even a bit too much—I still love this series. It will keep you biting your nails and turning pages, anxiously waiting for the next bombshell. However, you can’t read this as a standalone; you definitely need to read Say My Name first.

Let me know if you’d like further adjustments!

Sadly I didn't finish. I just felt like it was to stretched.

As we learn more about Jackson and Sylvia there are more things that they have to figure out how to deal with. I am enjoying this series. The ending was a twist. I look forward to seeing what happens.
