Mike and Samira (Sam) are a married couple interested in diving realistically deeper into Mike's kink. Little do they know they'll soon be adjusting to three people's kinks. This novel tests boundaries on a personal, emotional and sexual level, so prepare yourself. What I liked: how Cara helped me understand the driving force behind each of their kinks and how she was able to keep the meaning coming back to Mike and Sam as a married couple. What was difficult for me with this novel is purely on a personal level. So separating that fact, I was able to enjoy the trust being built between Mike, Sam and Bern. I would've liked more day to day interactions played out whereas the bulk of the novel was prepping for the scenes and the scenes themselves. I doubt I'll want to read the next novel IF it continues with Mike, Sam and Bern's arrangement (again for personal reasons). I think Crosstown Crush ended perfectly for them and their kinks and more twists and turns in their arrangement makes my gut twist with uncertainty. I like knowing they ended things where all involved were comfortable and trusted in their roles. Again, build a strong wall before reading this novel as it pushes personal, emotional and sexual boundaries.

I couldn't relate to the characters or the storyline. I was slightly disappointed in the book being that I heard great things about it..
