Although it is part of a series, I could read it alone and did not feel too lost, but it made me want to read the other books now.
What an enjoyable, entertaining story. Candidate has relatable characters, and believable circumstances, that contribute to a blend of humour and romance that create an interesting story. I found the story flow was exceptionally smooth.
