This deals with some unusually heavy themes - family obligation and mental illness - in the enemies to lovers romance. Holly doesn't want to return to the town she grew up in, but her bipolar sister needs her to step in. This brings her back in contact with - local high school lothario. Only now he's compassionate? and kind? And Holly navigates through the issues she facing, will she let herself find happiness? This was fairly gritty as far as a romance, goes, and while there were some immature character moments, I enjoyed the story of Holly and Josh, there's sarcasm, wit, and romance, as well as serious issues. I'll follow up with the next in the series. 3.5/5
