Karen Hawkins does not disappoint. I discovered this writer by accident, and what a happy one that was! Her writing is period-specific, and demonstrates an understanding of the historical period she sets her books in. Her characters are always well-developed, something main characters in The Prince and I, Max and Murian, deliver. This is an exciting tale, and the events and romance are simply fun to read. I enjoyed this book and will continue to read this author!

Karen always pens wonderful stories and Max and Murian are the modern day robin hood and his love Marian. I can't wait to read more of this series!
