This is a perfect fit for readers who crave a heartwarming and emotionally charged romance that explores the complexities of trust, loyalty, and the transformative power of love, with a strong and dashing hero who will sweep you off your feet.

This is the third book in the West Coast Navy SEALs series by Anne Elizabeth. This is one of the best series I have read as far as being as original to home life and work life for the military. I thought Anne Elizabeth did a great job with this one. Even though this is a series, it can be read as a standalone.
Maura has been almost stalking her neighbor and she hopes that he hasn't realized it. He is a yummy looking Navy SEAL and she loves being able to get a free show every now and then. The way that he has women in and out of his place though, she is not sure that she should even try to get to know him.
Declan has just finished a relaxing swim and sees a storm brewing so he decides to call it a day and go back in. When Maura heads out with her stand up paddle board intent on mastering this new hobby she has taken up. Maura doesn't realize that there is a storm coming in and heads out to sea anyway. When she gets into some trouble, Declan happens to be the one that comes to her rescue. This is a good way to meet him, right? Lol.
Maura has been so focused on the gym that she has now that it has taken all her time. She has a bucket list though that she is wanting to accomplish and the paddle board was one of them. Well, thanks to the paddle board, she and Declan have been spending more and more time together. As they do, Declan realizes that Maura is a woman that he wants to get to know more about and not just in the bedroom like all his other flings. Maura though questions herself how Declan can be into her when he has had all those other women. She gets cold feet and back off. Little does she know, Declan is being sent on a mission for a little while.
When Declan returns from his mission, he is a different person. Will Maura be able to explain herself to him? When Maura realizes that something has happened while Declan was gone, she knows that she has to be there for him, but will Declan let her in? These two are a good example of give and take in a relationship. I love that about them.
I am anxious for more in this series and I am going to have to go back and read the previous ones. These was very well written and made you long for more. Great job!
