This is the second book in the series and not reading the first, I probably did not like it as much as I would have. Many of the other reviewers stated that it was important to read these books in order. Cory (a former tooth fairy in training) has been stripped of her fairy skills. Being a descendent of Cupid, she decides that she should be a matchmaker, and Goldilocks is her target. She has found the perfect match, but he is marrying someone else. Does Goldilocks have a chance with her Perfect Match?

This book was okay, and I am sure that young girls will enjoy the characters, but as an adult, I was not able to relate. The characters seemed to be older than their voices were in the story. They were involved in getting married, which is not what I would have expected for a middle grade story. The one character I liked was Cory and the fact that she was trying to stand up for herself with the Fairy Counsel. The book leads up quite nicely to the next one in the series, so if a person gets hooked, they will definitely want to pick up the next book. A book I would recommend for early junior classrooms or school libraries.
