Ecstasy Unbound (Guardians of the Realms #1) by Setta Jay. I’ve had this book, this series, for quite a while and I’m finally settling down to read it now. Gotta say, what drew me in was the cover. Yummies! It’s very lickable. The story is pretty good. It’s very busy bouncing around from location, characters, plots. Quite a bit of world building here with it being the beginning of the series. I really like the Greek Gods flavoring it has and Holy Wow! things do run on the scorching hot flames side.

The blurb offered up what I wanted in a book. To tell the truth, I did feel a bit overwhelmed with the whole data overload. It just had too much thrown in the beginning. I get it. A new series with lots of set-up and characters to meet. I actually had to re-read the blurb to figure out who the main characters were again. I will be continuing with the series. Hoping now that all the world-building is done (please let it be done!), the series will calm down and get to the good stuff.

This is not my normal genre that I like to read but I did enjoy it. The plot was good and is very well written.

I did not finish this book. While I appreciate the offer to have the novel., I have stopped reading any romance novels that stray more into erotica.

Wow. I love it when I come across a book that has good reviews and an interesting blurb and it turns out to all be true! This book was fabulous! An intriguing storyline and twist on old mythology, which I love, and great writing. The characters were captivating and the sex... Holy Hellhound Batman was it HOT! I didn't want to put it down! I was drawn in from page one until the last word, which made me sad cuz it was over. There were a bevy of characters introduced and I must admit that there were a few times I got a little confused due to so many things happening, but as I kept reading it cleared itself up. I have a list of Guardians I am hoping will get books too! ;) I can't wait to continue with this series and see what happens next.

I thought this book was pretty good. It was quite a steamy read! The plot was good but it didn't really interest me as much as other similar books.

I have a ton of customers that would love this story and this author. With this specific genre in mind, most of my customers ask me personally for recommendations and ECSTASY UNBOUND is one that I would highly recommend!
