The Lost Girl was an interesting read. I was so curious as to why Lizzy was targeting Michael, who Angel was, etc. It was a quick read as even I read it fairly quickly and I am a slow reader. Out of the two Fear Street relaunch books that I have read (I missed book one) I liked this one the best.

Thank you so much Netgalley for the advance reader's copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I grew up reading R.L. Stine books and I loved the Fear Street series. This book was just okay for me.

RL Stine never disappoints. i’ve always loved getting to be immersed in the creepy atmosphere of the worlds he creates. This book was lots of fun and perfect for young readers that want to jump into the horror genre.

I loved this series as a preteen but I am having a hard time liking the new relaunch of Fear Street. I am not sure if it's the writing, or me no longer being young, lol. I will try one more, and then I am giving up on the series. I am going to try one of the original books to see if I still like them.
***I received an eARC from NETGALLEY***

I loved RL Stine as a teenager, and his is the first book I had read in many years.
I know I am not the target market for thisbook, but I just couldn't get into the story.
The series is extremely poular in our store, so I will give the series another try with a different title.

Maybe I'm weak, but I wasn't prepared for this book. I've never read R.L. shine before and this wasn't for me.

So creepy and fun.
Everyone at Shadyside High is talking about the new girl Lizzy. Michael finds himself drawn to her and vice versa, much to the chagrin of his girlfriend Pepper. When their friends begin getting murdered, Pepper is convinced Lizzy is behind it and the two teens are drawn into a dark history of murder and revenge.

I grew up loving RL Stine Fear Street they were chilling fun and nail biting reads. This story at first was intriguing but once we got to the big reveal of the mystery it was lackluster and fell flat. I will still read Stine this one just wasn't my cup of tea.
