Hope Springs on Main Street by Olivia Miles
What a warm, fuzzy romance! I loved how much Henry loved Jane's daughter. I think that was my favorite part of the whole story. The fact that Henry is the best friend of Jane's crappy ex made things interesting. It was kind of a second chance love story between two childhood friends, but not quite. I really enjoyed it, though! I thought the depictions of life/grief after divorce were done really well. Both of them have some baggage, but the way they help each other and find love was really sweet. I appreciated that the intimate scenes occurred behind closed doors. I enjoy my open doors, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood for it! All in all, I felt many things. This isn't a light and fluffy story, and both characters have to deal with things. It was tender and heartbreaking sometimes, but also hopeful. Lovely writing, too!
