If You Dare by Jessica Lemmon

I've got to hand it to Jessica Lemmon, she figured out how to write a humorous, slightly spooky book that I really enjoyed! Marcus is pretty swoony, and I loved how his playboy persona was really just a facade. His secret feelings for Lily are very sweet and I got a bit of a crush on him myself. The banter between the two of them is riddled with tension, and I loved the haunted house scenes. If You Dare put a huge smile on my face! My only real issue is that I don't think the cover fits the story at all. There is a light, romcom feel, but show readers that there's also a bit of a spooky feel as well! This cover looks like a photo taken at a beach. People definitely judge books by their covers, and I feel like many readers would flock to this one if it was more clear that there's a haunted house in this one.
