Donato de la Roche is a revolutionary. Born to the aristocracy of Spain but disagreeing with the way the King of Spain treats his colonies. At this particular moment though he only has one task, retrieve his son.
Collette Kincade was rescued from a pirate's island by her brother. Unfortunately she's not completely sure taking her son away from his father was the right thing to do.
This is the second book of the series and while you can read it on it's own, it's better if you have read the first one.
An historical romance with lots of emotion, revenge and family conflict. Add in a difficult Atlantic crossing and you get a very entertaining read.
Good fun.
