I enjoyed this book. I loved the message about finding friends. Chloe is an 11 year old American now living in India. Its tough. The culture is so different. There are wonderful descriptions of the world in which she now lives. The dynamics between family members and classmates are true to life. As is the English, the cuss words these kids use are found in this book, which will make it more appealing to kids and less appealing to parents who will focus on the words instead of the message of the story.

I love how the writer portrays the issue of different race. It is a well written novel that can give us lessons about friendship and culture.
