Good old fashioned spy novel, taking place during WWII, has Casey Lee, who is trying to get back to the US from Japan. He's desperate, but soon discovers he's been duped by Mr. Moto to fly a plane back to the US. Mr. Moto is after information that will help Japan win the war. Its enjoyable to see a book where the good guys are easily separated from the bad buys.
