Read this book about 3 years ago and completely forgot to post a review for it.
I do remember it being a good read but not much else.

This was an enjoyable read. I really liked the plot. The story is about Ryan and Justin and how they fell in love. I thought the book was engaging as it discussed issues of bullying, teen violence, and mental health. I thought Ryan was a bold character. She was attacked by girls from the club she was in and became disfigured. However, she kept moving forward with her life. I thought it was really inspiring to read a book with a strong heroine. Also, it was great to see her fall in love with Justin. Justin saved Ryan from the attack, and I thought he was sweet. He has dealt with a lot of things in his past. He suffered from PTSD and it demonstrated that hero’s do not always have to be strong. They can be vulnerable and insecure as well. The ending was great. I can’t wait to read other books by this author and from this series. Overall, a great read.

I enjoyed this book, but it might not be for the light hearted. It does have a serious topic of bullying right at the beginning. But overall, it was a nice YA read. I enjoyed Ryan's character in the story.
