I love Feist's Riftwar saga, so do not expect an unbiased review here. The books at the saga's start are why I grew out of the teenage denial of enjoying reading to the person I am today. The announcement of a new book in the saga always leaves me a little sad because I actually like the books (by Feist and Janny Wurts) from the other side of the rift a bit better than the original books, and I would love to see them continued. However. my disappointment fades as I fall right back into Midkemia. Pug is (of course) back and preparing to save the realm from demon hordes. Will he be able to save the kingdom a final time? .
