An atmospheric read, with a dark, twisty mystery at its core. The small-town life of Emerald Cove was a great setting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

I am not sure what to say about this book. It was good but I feel like it could have been better. I am not even sure how. It seemed to be lacking in so many ways but not lacking very much. It just seemed unfinished. I felt like I liked some of the characters but not enough to care about them. I wish I could have gone deeper.

I wish this was creepier, creepy as the synopsis made it out to be. But in the end, it was just another cheap old mystery and nothing really exciting happened, unfortunately.
