I've read the whole series, and was probably waiting the longest for this book. We've been seeing Penn and Cole dance around each other since book 1. While it was a relief to finally see them together, this book was a little more lighthearted than I expected.
Cole has always seemed like the most broody brother. Never wanting the spot light. Content hiding in the shadows. His one exception has been teaching. He loved showing other kids who were in the position he was in a child another way out. It's the one time he truly feels comfortable in his own skin.
Penn, has been the bubbly friend since we met Sterling in book 1. Always cheering everyone on, and being a marketing genius. The one place she didn't appear strong was with her family. She always felt inferior.
Leave it to Cole to come along and help her find her way through the "funcation", and the Foster Cup.
