These were such great reads! I loved the first book, but never managed to continue on, so I made it a priority in May, and I've read them, and I loved them! I just love the worlds that Megan Crewe creates, and these were such great stories!

The first book really set up this world, and these characters and the stakes, pretty well, so we pretty much able to jump right into things with these books. Of course there were new environments to explore, new characters to meet, but the stage had been set to lay more details onto it.

The Clouded Sky took place on Kemya, which was really interesting, given all that happened in the first book. That she's dealing with the rebels but there's very much a trust disconnect as well as a general ill feeling towards Earthlings, yeah, I was rooting for them! But oh, how things ended, well, that was pretty explosive!

Well, it was good that I was able to just go straight into A Sky Unbroken! Which was so fantastic, that we got both Skylar and Win's perspective in this book, which I really enjoyed and was really well done, and we got to see a wider view of what was going on. I raged on behalf of these characters at the unfairness, and I really enjoyed how it all resolved!

Loved reading these books and I can't wait to read more by Megan Crewe!

Unfortunately, after reading the first book I was spoiled for the rest of this book and it honestly irritated me and I won't be finishing.

It’s nice that we get to see both Win and Skylar's points of view in the final installment to this science fiction series. Again we pick up exactly where we left off in the cliff hanger sequel and having read this after sometime between this book and the last can really be difficult to climb back into the story without any clues as to where and why we are within the story. I didn’t care for the romance triangle or whatever bounce back. I’m very picky about the kind of romance I like and this didn’t do anything for me. There is more in the ways of politics now that Earth is gone and there are still remaining humans who many think deserve a home there. The ending does wrap things up which is nice while still leaving room for possibly more in the future.

Okay, honestly? Not as good as the other two and wasn't the ending I wanted to see.

However, that doesn't mean that this wasn't a great book.

What’s really wrong with us is that we’ve let fear of failure become our defining characteristic.

It felt good to be back in this world after the wait for this book. I love Skylar. She is amazing and brave and just, well everything I look for in a strong main character. The only reason I rate this book less than the other two is because I missed the chemistry between Skylar and Jule in this one. I really wanted those two to stay together as its obvious how much he loves and cares about her.

I realized how far I’d fallen in. I was over my head in what seemed like a blink.

I have to admit that Skylar and Win were so cute in this one. However it was nothing compared to what was between Jule and Skyler, but hey maybe I'm just biased.

Overall this book was still a good end to the series.
