The author retells the events leading up to the death of her son and miscarriage. She discusses her grief with each loss. This is an extremely sad book. I cannot imagine what the author experienced.

I honestly had a horrible time getting through this - it was too close to home. It took me almost a year to finish, which sounds absurd, but I suppose that's the mark of good writing.
