First in a series

Estelle is in NYC to apartment sit for her brother for a few weeks. She hates the city. As a landscape architect, she wants green. Not noisy, concrete. She meats Crosby in a grocery store and there is instant attraction. Neither are the short term type, so she avoids him. His family owns an HVAC company that has been around for generations, tying him to the city. But when her AC fails and they are alone, she can no longer fight it. So they agree to temporary.

This is a novella, and falls into the novella trap. Insta-love and little development. You don't get to know Crosby and Estelle other than some basics. Novellas have their place, but to meet, fall in love, have a HEA all in a novella makes it surface level.
