Greg is on the Marine boxing team and Reagan is the teams liaison. Reagan is escaping from her family that cares little about what she dreams for her future and Greg is doing his all to forget his past. Greg is sweet and gentlemanly at the speed in which he approaches Reagan. They want a solid foundation for a relationship, so this aspect I enjoyed a lot in this novel. Against the Ropes ebbed and flowed for me. The vandalizing suspect is at it again, with no culprit in mind. Those moments would hike up the excitement as would the alone moments between Greg and Reagan. Other moments were fluffy and redundant; the constant practicing, the description of Reagan's attire. I wanted more answers in terms of the suspect and I wanted Reagan to stand up for herself sooner than she did. Overall this was a good read, and Greg is easy to swoon over.
