I feel like this is a book that is really hard to review. It was one that sticks with you for a long time. One of those books you just have to read yourself to fully understand. I feel like you should go in blind and experience the words for the first tie.

Jewel E Ann said she wanted to push beyond the norm and she was absolutely successful.

This book is a slow burn but worth every page. This will be a book you recommend to others!

This book was a TRIP. I loved the unpredictability of this book. I would continue this series This was my first Jewel Ann book. I have been wanting to get to this one for awhile. I am glad I finally got to it.

This was a surprisingly great book and kept me coming back for more. The author filled this novel with humor while also keeping a sexy and dark vib. The characters are complex and you end up liking them throughout the whole story. I will enjoy reading the next books.

I think this definitely would have been a book I would have loved and raved about back in the day, but maybe wasn’t in the mood for lately. My friends have all raved over what an amazing author Jewel is and I would love to try another one of her books!

I don’t get it but I liked it. Dr Jones is wonderful.

I thought there was going to be a big revelation and I would kick myself for not seeing the plot twist coming but the plot twist is that there is no plot twist. The bomb dropped but there is more to come. More to reveal.

Jillian really is that crazy. Or is she? She’s quirky, hilarious and dangerous. I envy her strength and her body. Most of all I envy her because Dr Luke Jones loves her. I would love him more and I wouldn’t bite him, unless he asked me to. I need a Jillian/Jessica/Jones perfect ending as they ride into the sunset in a hot car. I can take or leave AJ he’s just a fucktoy who can take pain. I love Dr Jones so much that I couldn’t warm to AJ.

I guess I need to read book 2.

I have to say I enjoyed this book! I've seen so many positive reviews so I went into it very excited and I must say I wasn't disappointed! I loved the opening and how it really rather quickly set the tone of the book and gave a clear idea of what was going on with the characters and how they were moving forward. The switch between the present and the past was very welcome as it gave us a better understanding of how the characters remotely ended up in the situation they are in in the present. However I really, really would have liked to see Jackson's thoughts and feelings. I think as female reader I get a real thrill out of reading a man's POV and understanding how he may be digesting and reacting to what's happening. I do have to say that the switch between the past and present was distinct and left no room for confusion.
It's strange that I loved this book but really didn't care for Jess/Jill. Her personality was hard to get behind as was AJ's. In a lot of ways she seemed a very selfish character and AJ, a little shallow. Jackson on the other hand I think I could have read so much more about.

WOW! I was blown the freak away! This story was completely compelling and riveting! I fell head over hills in love with this story!
