I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was really hard for me too read. The story was slow moving and I just coudn’t finish it. It just wasn’t for me.

Good writing, well-planned plot ... I just couldn't connect with the characters.

Oh God, the amazing potential this had to grab me right up!

Sad to say that it didn’t live up to my hopes. I was very close to putting this in my DNF pile but it had enough of a hook that I hung on.

I hate giving this book a poor review when I loved both main characters and really enjoyed the plot.

Kaz and Jake have so much in common and none of it all that great. Besides Kaz being an ink covered dream model and Jake being a photographer looking for that perfect person, their relationship is sketchy. Jake has a past that weaves into Kaz’s and this alone could have had such amazing suspense and build up but it fell so flat. Some scenes went on for far too long and it just wasn’t for me.
