Kate SeRine is a new author for me and I received an ARC copy via Netgalley. I was pretty hyped when I first starting reading this book, however towards the end of it I found the book pretty lacking. I couldn't quite understand why as I find both characters quite likeable and the world building was solid too. I'm only able to give this book 3 stars.
