When you add Vegas, blackmail, and a bit of "tied up" shenanigans, this contemporary romance might be what you need for your next read.

This is the third book in the Wilde Security series by Tonya Burrows. This one can be read as a standalone.

In this story we get more Reece, the more responsible brother. Reece is a workaholic and is determined to not let his family's security firm fail. Reece really wants to focus more on his own software company, but he is focused on the family business right now. This is also causing a lack of funds for his own business as well when he is trying to keep the family business alive. Reece has one hope that he is holding out for on a potential investor for the family business. This potential investor has some very conservative ideas though and Reece has to keep his nose clean until the deal is done. That is so much easier said than done for him. Especially with Shelby, his little brother's sister-in-law.

Shelby has a reputation from her adolescent years that has followed her. She has the reputation as a bad girl when in reality she is actually very good and has a level head on her shoulders. Shelby is determined and a hard worker as well. She has tried really hard to turn her life around. When Shelby sees Reece, she immediately has a crush on him but tries her hardest to keep it to herself.

When Reece and Shelby get caught on camera in the worst possible place, someone uses it to blackmail Reece. Will he be able to get himself out of this pickle that he is in now and keep the potential investor for the family business? You will have to read this steamy read to find out. I love the chemistry between Reece and Shelby. They made a good pair.

I would give this a 3.5 star. I enjoyed the mystery in the storyline. A lot of erotica in here, which I don't mind and it wasn't all just about the sex. And you know that they will end up falling in love so there isn't instalove. Reece has always been a serious, no nonsense type of person since his parents had died and he felt that he had to take care of his adult brothers. He is trying to land a major contract but gets caught in a sex scandal with wild child Shelby who is really 30 years old. She has a long life full of bad trouble. Her sister is marrying Reece's brother but doesn't want Reece getting involved with her sister. The mystery was great and even though this was the 3rd book in a series I don't think I missed anything by not reading the first 2 books. I received this from NetGalley for a review.
