Gaining By Losing is about learning to train up church leaders to go into the world and lead on their own. I loved the concept of the book. I've personally worked in a ministry that practiced this and seen the fruit firsthand. I just felt like it was a little sluggish. It took me a long time to read it because it kept being repetitive. But what this book teaches leaders is practical and necessary for the modern church.
