Sorry this book was a DNF for me. I've tried a couple of times to read and I just can't connect. Thank you for the chance though.

The broken past and the journey to replace the past with a bright and strong future fills me with hope and excitement. The shame and secrets cloud over current judgement and trust. But the fight to overcome, the trust and belief in goodness fills me with warmth and strength. Mona and Kurt, although secondary characters left their mark from their witty remarks and their own hurts they're working through. This Tall, Dark & Dangerous series has thus far grabbed my attention and resulted in falling in love with the heroines and heroes. I can't wait for the next, Brave Enough. The feels are sparked: angst, longing, hope, fear, anger, compassion, and anticipation.
