This is the third book in the Highlander's Beloved by Vonnie Davis. I have read one of the previous books in this series and remember how I loved the humor of it. Well, Vonnie Davis delivers the same humor in this one as well with Ronan's bear that he shifts into.

Anisa is in the CIA and has found evidence that she has been labeled as a traitor. Anisa is not determined to leave and hopefully not be found. Well, the drone that she leaves in ends up crashing right onto Ronan. Never before have either one of the believed in love at first sight.

Ronan has sworn off getting married or having children of his own, but will Anisa change his mind on that? Ronan's bear when he shifts wants Anisa so bad that he will do anything to get to her. This is evident when Anisa is found and taken back to Paris to stand trial. Ronan is going to go to any length he has to to get Anisa back for himself.

I loved that the bear Ronan shifted into was humorous. It added a lot to the story. I think that the characters had lots of chemistry and the story flowed really well providing a great read. I am not a fan of many shifter books, but Vonnie Davis always makes me want to read more.

Wow what a terrific story! It held my interest from page one and was very hard to put this book down. I loved the unique storyline and very detailed characters. The interactions between the character was very well done. I will definitely read more books by Vonnie Davis in the future.

Love this series this book was awesome and didn't dissapoint can't wait to read more by this author
