Quinn loves her animals and very much has the heart to help in rescuing animals like her horse Tucker who is skittish around men and with Quinns soft touch responds only to her.

Ethan having been in an accident in Afghanistan needs to recover in a place that is not around his concerned parents and chooses to go back to Whisper Creek, a place he loved as a child. Here he meets bubbly and sunny Quinn who with her special ways reaches Ethan in a way no other can.

But is is only Ethan who is able to help Quinn with a problem she has wanted to get over, being a 24 year old virgin is hard and she finds it hard to get near doing the deed with any other man. But Ethan has a soft sure way about him that not only turns Quinn on, but that she trusts him.

The supporting family is strong, the friendships Quinn has formed is strong and ultimately, Quinn gives Ethan the biggest push in order to recover and he in turn shows her that she is the only one he could ever want.

Quinn Knowles isn’t thrilled when her father asked her to pick up family friend Ethan Saunders at the airport. She’s too busy spending her time working towards her goals of building a sanctuary for animals. Ethan is trying to recover from his time in Afghanistan but finds it harder than he ever imagined. That’s why he never imagined that he would find himself drawn to Quinn and with Quinn dedicated to her goal, she never thought that Ethan would come into her life. She definitely never thought he would come to mean so much to her. Both Ethan and Quinn have found each other when the timing isn’t right and both have their own issues to deal with. Ethan and Quinn want the surprise relationship they have found but can they make it work?

Laura Moore always delivers a great read and Once Touched is no exception! Ethan and Quinn both had things to work through but I wanted them to!! From the moment they met at the airport I knew they would be good together and I was right. Emotional and realistic, Laura Moore has gifted us with a great book! I have missed the others in the Silver Creek series but will now have to add them to my reading list!!

I've been enjoying this series, and really liked this story featuring Quinn and Ethan. I thought they were both good characters, and I liked the way their romance played out. The storyline was a good one, and I thought this was a good addition to the Silver Creek Series.

Once Touched by Laura Moore is the third in her Silver Creek series. I read and loved the second one, still haven’t gotten round to reading the first book.

Quinn is the youngest of three siblings, and is the only girl, and being brought up on a ranch, Quinn learned to be tough, but for all her toughness she is totally clueless when it comes to men.

She brings rescued animals back to the ranch to heal, and usually keeps them, she has a bad mouthed bird, a dog, a cat, several horses, and a small herd of goats. She dreams of opening her own haven for animals one day.

She is told by the men she dates, how pretty she is, but she won’t let them too close, she is scared, and after a few attempts with a few of those men, she decides that sex is overrated, or there must be something wrong with her.

Then her parents ask Quinn to pick up an old family friend who is coming to recover from a severe injury, from the airport. She remembers Ethan, who was always at the ranch when she was a little girl and he would spend hours helping her to ride her favourite pony. But her childhood memories are soon turned to dust. The man Quinn knew, wasn’t there, and in his place was a broken man, a man so immersed in his anger and pain that she didn’t recognize him, sparks fly and not in a positive way.

Ethan is a photojournalist, and has just come back from taking photos in Afghanistan. After suffering from a bomb blast, all Ethan wants to do is recover and get on with life, and unsure if he will ever have the confidence to pick up a camera again, Ethan just wants to live day to day.

But little by little Quinn helps heal this scarred and damaged man. And in return he shows Quinn what a real relationship has to offer. They might just start out as friends with benefits, but it soon quickly turns into more.

But misunderstandings and mistrust drive a huge wedge between Quinn and Ethan, can they restore each other’s faith, and will their love survive? I love her interaction with her brothers Wade and Reid. Those books are one and two in the trilogy you get a nice glimpse of them too. Once Touched is another wonderful story by Laura Moore.
