A call for honesty - as a tool to shake off all of the pretense and to fell lighther, truer to yourself (and a bit sassy/ier, too).

The authoress is outspoken defender of the normality - not averageness! Just the real reality of how the things are for you (mostly the difficult stuff) and how liberating it can be and how you can build up the other females in being vulnerable and frank with your life and its downs (and maybe ups, too - as the others´ "ups" are harder to relate and to enjoy than their troubles).
But while the overall call is for honesty (what I applaud), the book itself is not going deeper or covering the all the icky topics (but this is the authoress´book, not mine :)).
What we have here, in my opinion, is a collection of essays. They are sassy, entertaining, honest (mainly when they are personal) and quite relatable. But the message is nothing new.
But still, not everything needs to be new to be working. So do not read this as an innovated "Bible" of honesty, but as an entertaining read - while evaluating, re-evaluating, questioning and validating the woman you are and you aspire to be. This might be a good companion on a part of your way.
