Did someone say MC? I've been into anything MC lately and I have high standards for it.

Hold Me Down was almost there, it was almost the MC book that I would be dying to read.

I started with reading the first books of the series and those were great, however, this one fell off the hype for me. It's the third book and it was good but it didn't have the same gripping on the edge of my seat for me. It could maybe be due to each book being by a different author and the style just wasn't it for me.

I received this free eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

From the beginning, I had a disconnect with this story and with the characters. I stuck it out for awhile but I just want feeling it overall. Ally and Blue dived right into a sexual interaction without any warning and even then I felt like they were disconnected. Overall it was okay and I'm glad I got the chance to read it.

Leon and Alice known each other since they were teens. Leon had a very different upbringing than Alice. Alice's mother was cleaned Leon's house until Leon's father and Alice's mother decided to have an affair. Leon's trust in family shattered when his father had an affair in front of him, ever since then his royalty belong to MC.
Leon was known as Blue and he has been away since his MC president Priest asked him to be away when things went bad. He never thought he would be back until he finds Priest, was murdered. Now he is back trying to strengthen their club and revenge Priest death.
Alice lost her mother but she lost Leon when she needed him the most. He was gone for almost 10 years and he is back. Rumor was true that he was back. However, she can't be with him since her royalty belongs to his rival MC. She needed help after losing her father as well and when Leon's rival president offered she took it and she belong in that club ever since fixing their bikes.
Leon aka Blue needs and wants Alice aka Red back. He would do anything to keep her but they will have to figure out if she is trust worthy. He realizes he abandoned her before and he won't abandon her again but it won't be easy for both.
I was okay with storyline. It moved quickly and easy to read.
Thanks to Netgalley and Loveswept for ARC in exchange for honest review.

Third book in a series but my first....honestly I feel like some reading in order should be had here. This was the only one I was allowed but I still managed to really like it. Love the cover too❤️ So in this one Priest the head of the Deacons of Bourbon street MC was killed in a motorcycle accident and Blue is finally allowed back after ten years of being gone....in fact all the brothers are back seeking revenge for the person who killed Priest.

What did I like? The savage intensity between Red and Blue was dynamite. Red was torn between the MC that left her and the MC that saved her. Becoming Blue’s old lady was hawt. Her dynamic for the club never switched gears as she was torn between the two clubs but managed to stay true to both.

Would I recommend or buy? I would definitely buy this series, and recommend. I found this one to be a pretty good MC book. Any MC lovers? Best start at the beginning though.

Thoughts for the author ? Great book....loved it five stars of entertainment! I received a copy to give an opinion.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

So I enjoyed reading this one, but there was just something that didn't quite gel for me. I don't know if it was the hate-screwing that happened through most of it or the fact that I didn't feel any connection to Blue or Alice, but either way, it just fell a little flat for me. I do kind of want this whole Priest thing to be solved...

If you like a MC romance, this is a good one. If you haven't read one before, this is a good one to start with. It was a hot romance with some suspense throw in to make it even more interesting.
