There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.

This book is hard work. It's also incredible. The scholarly detail and untold time it took to write raises it's value. Would I like to read but again? No. Would I recommend it? That depends. I feel I learned a lot from this book and I've very glad the publisher approved me for a copy.
