Annabelle/bells had won TV’s Cupcake Wars. her bakery business-Yummy Bakery- was booming. Kaden Is Bells best friend and also an alien- that no one is to know. Kaden and his two younger brothers had landed on earth two years ago. They are refugees from a destroyed planet. The first year Kaden and his brothers were in an FBI facility learning how to blend in and live among humans. They were than given IDs and set up in Germantown. One of the rules for Kaden and his brothers were none could know they were aliens or form any romantic attachments. Bells met Kaden a year ago when he couldn't resist going in her bakery. Bells is very attracted to Kaden but he seems determined to keep her in the friend zone. Kaden tries to keep Bells safe by pushing her away. But Kaden really does wanted to kiss Bells. Than Kaden finds out Bells is going on a date with someone else. He than can’t help himself and kisses her and his non-beating heart starts to beat for the first time which mean Bells is his mate and they mate for life.
I liked this book. It was a sweet good read. I liked the fast pace and plot. I liked that Bells would stand up for herself. I chuckled at times when reading this. I loved Kaden and Bells together and how they interacted with each other. This had some great writing in it. I liked watching Kaden’s and Bells relationship grow. I really enjoyed the ending. I loved that Kaden felt he had to protect his younger brothers safe. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it

Spell Bounding! From the first page to the very end I was hooked. Sexy aliens, strong sassy females, and delicious cupcakes what's not to love! The characters were fun, real and enjoyable to read and root for. The story was paced well and kept me interested the whole way through. I recommend this book for any lovers of sexy aliens and best friend romances.

DNF ... sorry I read up to half way through and I had to drop it as my attention wasn't really being held.
