this book, unfortunately, was not it for me. it was a dnf for me early on, as i couldn’t find anything redeeming or enjoyable about it, with an extremely entitled and unlikable main character and overly self-indulgent pov.

First, this book needed trigger warnings. Second, if you loved GIRLS on HBO, maybe you'd like this. I did not and I admittedly couldn't get through this book.

I couldn't finish this book. I absolutely loathed it, hated the narrator, the long, rambling prose. Completely devoid of any kind of a plot.

Already have a copy for my course but I personally dnf'd this book. The inconsistencies in the writing and characters were just too much to get over. I saw what she was going for but it didn't really pay off with the writing style. My students have enjoyed it though so that's a win!

Wow! A roller coaster ride! Not at all what I expected. Great characters and story flow. Thought provoking and makes you contemplate your own choices. Interesting choices and paths followed. Will make you reflect on everything. Recommend reading..
