This could be me on this one because I'm reading it after a total five star book, but I just didn't really like this.


You have hot guy who is an enforcer. (I thought this was a MC book from the cover-it isn't) He not only is an enforcer that protects his Coven..he is a witch. Different kind of witch than I'm used to though, the best I could figure is that witches in this series are able to throw fire and heal themselves.
He is fed up with life one night at the club and in walks blonde hotness. He takes her home. She doesn't give him the good time he expected though and ends up drugging him and taking some stuff he had been working on.

The woman, Cee Cee has an agenda to revenge her dead husband..etc. A baddie who happens to be a demon killed him. Demons are different too, they use mind attacks and can transport.
There is a drug that is out on the streets that kill off the humans and just happens to kill witches so that's what hot guy had been working on when he got distracted by his wiener.

Sex stuff happens. (This part wasn't horrible but nothing really spectacular)

Everyone on my friends list that had read this gave it high stars. I'm probably just a dumbass but it just didn't feel like anything new to me.
