Not my usual genre but I quite enjoyed this fast paced thriller. Reminded me a bit of James Patterson's writing - short and snappy and quick to read.

This just wasn’t for me, it was so tedious and drawn out. It felt extremely long and then still ended up leaving loads of stuff unexplained/unfinished. The whole plot was so far fetched and just seemed incredibly pointless. Even the high tension parts weren’t gripping, the main characters weren’t interesting and all in all it just seemed so ridiculous. It dragged on way longer than it needed then the conclusion was given around 20 pages at the end. It just felt so anticlimactic and almost as though the writer had no idea how to finish it either so panicked and gave us an all round disappointing finish, that literally left me wondering what exactly the point was.

Someone to save You by paul pilkington is a Mystery and thriller and general fiction (adult) read.
Fifteen years ago, Sam Becker’s sister was killed, a tragedy that haunts him to this day—particularly as his best friend, Marcus, was jailed for her murder.
Driving home from the bittersweet celebration of what would have been her thirtieth birthday, Sam is confronted with a terrifying scene, and has just moments to try to save four lives. In the aftermath of this chilling drama, he is hailed as a hero by the press—but to the investigating police, things do not add up. Sam finds himself drawn into a conspiracy of lies and organised crime that puts his own life in danger.
This was a really enjoyable read with great characters. I loved the story. Wondering who it could be. Full of twists and plots. Highly recommended. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
