As a stand along story, it was an enjoyable and entertaining read. It has its plus and minuses.
On the plus side it is meant to be based on real events, and has been dramatized to create additional suspense and trills. It is an easy read.
On the negative side, the storyline drags in places, and the characters don't hold true. The villain and henchmen are hammy at best, and cliche.
