Was impressed with this book being I hadn't read the first one yet! Was able to read this as a stand alone with no problems!

In this one we have Lizzie Snow working as a deputy in Maine and experiencing her first winter there. Suddenly, she is confronted with a fire, a missing girl, and an escaped kidnapper and rapist. Lizzie has to race to save the girl, capture the killer, and escape the raging fire.
This one had tons of action, great characters, and a storyline that kept me riveted.
