Funny rockstar story that will keep you entertained, a bit fast-paced but I enjoyed it. Was well written and I like that there are a lot of references to other TV shows, such as The Voice, so if you like that sort of themes, read it.

This was a great read. To me, this was like If I Stay in the way that everything revolves around music. Also, the story is similar because Maddie is like Mia into classical music, whereas Jared is like Adam into the rock and or something other than classical music. However, when you put the two of them together, there is something that draws them together. A spark. Jared learns that there is more to life than just music. Maddie in some ways breaks away from her quiet normal life. However, the common ground that makes them who they are and love each other is music. Music is everything, but it does not have to be the only thing in your life. I liked Jared and Maddie's relationship. I think this was an enjoyable book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Overall, an unexpected read.
