Owen's sister, an experienced diver, drowns in a lake where she doesn't normally go and he wants to find out what really happened. Great cover and blurb which draws you in, but then sadly spits you out again! I love ghostly goings on but wasn't really grabbed by this tale. It started well enough and I enjoyed that part until the book moved forward in time. It's probably just me as others seem to love it. I would try another book by this author as I loved the idea of Salvage.

Although this is a debut novel by Duncan Ralston, it felt like reading something from a well-known writer. This is an old-fashioned ghost story, likes of which are truly rare today, and I simply couldn't put it down.
