This is the second book that I've read by Lucy Parker, and again, I find myself struggling with her characters and her writing. I can't even pinpoint exactly what I didn't like. This book hit all the buttons and in theory I should have absolutely loved it. But I just didn't. For me, this book was dragging and I felt like it took forever for me to finish it up.

I think one of the biggest issues that I had, which is also the compliant that I had about the other Lucy Parker book I read is the complete lack of chemistry that the two characters had (in my opinion). I just couldn't see these two characters together and it made it hard for me to read through the story and enjoy it.

I'm not giving up on Lucy Parker yet. I'm going to try something else by her and give her one more chance and see what I think!
