The first Danny Ryan thriller.
A pretty solid start to a series. It has many of the elements that make up a modern thriller - most notably, a damaged protagonist (this time a journalist) who is struggling to come to terms with a tragedy.
He's living along, trying to pick up the remnants of his life, when a car driven by one of his friends crashes into his pond, and he receives a cryptic, one-word warning.
Well-written, well-paced, it's a solid start to a series. Looking forward to trying the next book, ONE BY ONE (out now).
