I miss Sawyer Bennet's brand of writing. Her spunky main characters, the alpha heroes, the banter and the spice. Nothing better than two strong characters butting heads - and falling in love. This story is as addictive as it's fun and deliciously hot. Smart, possessive and too tempting to handle, Reeve is one memorable hero.

This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!

Their relationship starts out superficial, but soon turns into something more. Being on opposing sides of this law suit tests the relationship, but the way they connect is sweet and endearing. The strength of this book is watching the relationship evolve. However, the timing of Leary and Reeve's relationship makes me pause. I accept that sometimes lawyers walk can cross a very fine line on behalf of their clients, but getting involved during their case casts a shadow for me. They are violating an ethical line that serves themselves, not the client. Despite both characters acknowledging this fact, they race head long into the relationship. I want more struggle with the moral dilemma of beginning this affair at this time. Not surprisingly, the fallout is a part of the dramatic hook, but I want a little more angst about getting involved. As much as I like Leary and Reeve, this choice takes just a little shine off their character.

IN A NUTSHELL:
Despite my own minor conflict, Friction is a highly entertaining read. I highly anticipate more courtroom and bedroom drama in future books.

This was my first Sawyer Bennett read and it was amazing. Steamy, intriguing with lovable characters and a fast paced story line, I definitely looking forward to enjoying the rest of the series .

I am so sorry, but this book just wasn't for me. It had a great premise, but unfortunately, it fell just short for me. I was not able to finish the book. I am not using NetGalley’s DNF feature as it negatively affects reviewers.

I’m hit or miss with Sawyer Bennett books, but Friction was on my hit list! I really liked Leary, she was a strong & kind woman. And Leary, well, I was leery of him at first. But he ultimately proved himself to be on the right side. I liked the story of the two opposing lawyers and the hot sexy scenes in between!

An intriguing, forbidden and sexy read! Couldn't put it down!

This book just wasn't my cup of tea. I know its a very popular series but it just wasn't for me.

This was a very enjoyable read. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and the steamy scenes were HOT !! I also loved the banter ;)

Highley recommended if you love a "feel good" story with a healthy dose of hot steamy sex ;)

Sawyer Bennett write the best books, and this one lives up to the others! The romance of Reeve and Leary was great! I loved both characters, and it was so much fun to see their relationship develop. The book has every thing I expect from Bennett - wonderful characters, a great storyline, plenty of action, and smoldering chemistry between the main characters. This one is not to be missed!

Friction was an amazing read. This book was hard to put down. I liked the strong characters, and they had smoking chemistry. I laughed out loud many times during the story. I loved seeing past characters. Great Read

I love the slow burn, I love the bad a$$ leading lady with a brain and a kick a$$ and take no names attitude. Then there is the aspect where Reeve gives Leary as good as he gets. Great read.
